Hello world this is Marika, I am 14 going on 15. I am in a leadership and communication class and we are deciding on a topic of interest that involves our town Taihape. We are discussing pollution in our river which is called the Hautapu river people agreed on the pollution in the River and we decided that we are going to be investigating it today we are going to the Hautapu River to find stuff that might be polluting our river I'm guessing that the pollution in the river will be the majority of rubbish that might be left down there.
This is the reason why we decided to do it on pollution.

we are trying to clean up our river so that its alright to go swimming down there and i was right it is the mojority of rubbish lying on the ground and the hazzards like disconnected pipes and petrol containers down there my guess was we have to do something about it quick so we are still thinking of solutions and what we have to do

I am leaving in France, near Strasbourg, the capital of Europe. Here , our biggest river is the Rhin. It used to be very bad, lots of pollution from indutries, houses, etc...but thanks to the effort of some ecologists, some politicians, the water has improved. Used waters are not rejected anymore without being treated, purified, and now, Salmons, are coming back to make babies in the Rhin again, which is a very good thing.

What did I learn all through the term that pollution is very dangerous to rivers and what does it affect on it the thing that it really affects is the water THAT WE DRINK AND PEOPLE ARE NOW AWARE OF IT.IT REALLY DOES AFFECT OUR RIVER SO DON’T POLLUTE BE A GOOD PERSON AND THROW YOUR RUBBISH AWAY THAT’S ALITTLE COMMENT THAT IM GOING TO SEND TO EVERYONE TO MAKE THEM MORE AWARE
